Getting soaked at the Buick

Yesterday Ryan and I got tickets to the Buick Invitational. Since the US Open, I found a new appreciation to golf and find it fun to be there in person. The Buick did not disappoint. The tickets we had allowed access to the Charles Schwab Chalet on the 17th hole. We stayed at the chalet long enough to eat some food and watch a few golfers pass by on the 17th hole. It was nice to have the shelter, it started to rain while we were there. After lunch, we decided to brave the elements and watch Villegas, Rollins, and Hoffman on the 9th hole. Ryan and his coworker Wes, positioned me right in front of the hole. It was the perfect spot! Villegas tried to get back on the green but hit it too hard. All of sudden, I heard someone yell "FOUR" (or "FORE", not sure how it's spelled). The ball landed 2 feet away from me. That was the highlight of the day. I got to see Villegas up close and I have to admit he is very hot. After that hole we went to the 13th hole to wait for them. While at 13, I saw the rain headed for us and within a minute, a heavy downpour was upon us. Luckily we were prepared with umbrellas and rain coats, but we still got wet. All in all, it was fun day at Torrey Pines.
